At Itsa Lika Beer, we help people enjoy their days and remember their nights by brewing the best non-alcoholic craft beer on the market. 

As Boulder CO's first non-alcoholic beer, Itsa Lika launched spring 2021. We are in 50+ stores on the Front Range and are poised to nearly double our doors by January 2022. We have also recently optimized our DTC platform and are gearing up to support a strong “Dry January.”  

Currently, we have two brews in the market - “West Coast IPA” and “Super Crisp,” pilsner style - and we’re adding a third, a sour, before the end of the year. With the basic elements in place, this brand is ready to be taken to the next level.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, high energy, results-driven professional to support fundraising and become the President/CEO of Itsa Lika. The position will be located in the Boulder/Denver CO area, though we are open to a transition to this area upon funding. Some brewing experience and a good understanding of selling direct to consumer is required and experience selling to the established beer & liquor distribution channels is preferred. 

This role mainly requires a person with start-up experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to support the current team in fundraising while in turn leading the company to the next level. This will involve working with current partnerships, hiring staff, identifying strategies to further penetrate existing channels, partnering with contract breweries and distribution firms, and having a good understanding of managing cash flow for a new business.

This position will support fundraising with a strong resume and by working part-time to pitch investors and close a Series A round. In turn this role will become full-time and further involve:

  • Increasing sales and distribution of product beyond existing channels expanding beyond the Boulder/Denver market.
  • Developing expert knowledge of non-alcoholic beer and guide Itsa Lika to future product offerings.
  • Managing distribution, sales reps, and activities to maximize sales volume within the Boulder/Denver market.
  • Oversee selling to consumers on-line and efficiently build customer base to expand this key channel.

Compensation
Compensation will be competitive, with strong equity incentive for early role and with limited cash compensation prior to funding.

About the Team
Itsa Lika has an established contract brewery relationship with room to expand and scale to the next level. The company is the first brand of a start-up studio, Big Lever Labs, which has an existing relationship with Walden Hyde for marketing, strategy and support. A host of third party alliances are in place with leading natural product professionals to support the fundraising and including back-office support for growth. A key third party on-line sales professional is also part of this ecosystem.

About You

  • Do you have excellent selling skills and a thorough understanding of leveraging digital marketing to support channel growth?
  • Are you able to build relationships and do you possess the ability to see the big picture while aligning internal and external resources to achieve goals?
  • You must have excellent communication skills, thrive at being a strong connector and understand how to prioritize and share your vision verbally and in writing with senior leadership.
  • You must be comfortable with operations, understand how to oversee quality with third party manufacturers, and access customer input.
  • You will also need to be comfortable with being the face for the company, representing it at functions, public meetings and industry events.
  • Comfort in the financial aspects of running a business and interfacing with a chief financial officer / back office support is paramount.

Sales Representative Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our company in the Boulder/Denver CO area, covering Longmont, Boulder Valley, and Denver metro. This position requires some sales experience, preferably selling to the established beer & liquor distribution channels and allows for flexible hours.

About the Role

  • Increase sales and distribution of product in sales territory with company support; yet, this role is mainly working independently
  • Build relationship with existing base and aggressively pursue new accounts
  • Communicate retail account activity to distributor, distributor representatives, and Itsa Lika management team
  • Develop expert knowledge of non-alcoholic beer and Itsa Lika products
  • Educate distributor representatives about Itsa Lika products
  • Manage individual time and activities to maximize sales volume within territory

About The Schedule

  • Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
  • Requires occasional weekends
  • Hourly rate offered, $15/hour, plus commission on new accounts
  • Market expectations: 80% off-premise, 20% on-premise
  • Lead certain promotional events to be scheduled monthly
  • Consistent calls on local retail buyers, decision makers, and key account managers
  • Coordinate special events and promotions as assigned throughout the year

About You

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred
  • Hospitality or service industry experience preferred
  • Excellent sales and relationship development skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have your own vehicle and a clean driving record
